Makiko has a natural flair when it comes to discussions with parents regarding their child’s behaviour and progress.
Makiko has a fun, loving nature and finds it easy to develop rapport with parents and to discuss issues with them. Makiko also has a good rapport with the children and is always playing with them, which they love. Makiko is very responsive to children’s feelings and needs. She also shows respect for their developing competencies and helps them to foster self-esteem and independence.
I’ve worked with Makiko through Japan Affinity Pty Ltd and saw first hand her practical skills and knowledge of cultures and relationships. Since then I’ve been privileged to see her combined expertise and patience when she presented after she became a counsellor . Makiko understands the pressures of modern life, and with her love of children she can guide families and children through tough times.
